This art piece is one of my earlier paintings, and unfortunately, I don’t have a better photo of it. It is so much more beautiful in person! I composed it from a photograph taken by my brother-in-law who captured the scenery that inspired this bold Texas sunset painting. The photo was taken near Austin, Texas, where he and his wife live.
Texas is known for having some of the most beautiful sunsets in America. You don’t have to go far in Texas to see a beautiful sunset. These vibrant scenes can be seen almost every night if you live in the country. As a native of Texas, I can attest to that myself. I enjoy painting the sunsets of the Lone Star State for so many reasons, but mostly I love the rich, dazzling colors present in them!
