Rooted in Faith and Realism
The appreciation I have for quality fine art—and the ability to create it—are gifts from the One True God. It’s because of Him that I’m able to share these gifts with the world.
Fine art has been my passion since childhood. I love working on my paintings, and I’m often inspired by life and nature. While I admire many different styles, realism is my favorite. As a realist artist, I aim to portray subjects as they appear in life—just as the Creator designed them. That said, I also appreciate other styles like impressionism and abstract art. Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso are two of my favorite artists, even though their approaches differ greatly from mine. I also admire American painters such as Georgia O’Keeffe, for her expressive florals, and Thomas Kinkade, for his mastery of realism.
Inspired by Creation
I enjoy the challenge of painting a wide range of subjects—landscapes, flowers, still life, and more—whatever inspires me in the moment. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be landscapes and space art, since I return to those most often. When I’m painting a space scene, I’m reminded of the Scripture that says, “The heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1). I try to let that truth shine through in my work. My desire as an artist is to reflect the beauty and majesty of the Most High God’s creation through realism, inviting others to see His handiwork in the world around them.
To capture the richness of these scenes, I work in oil paint. It’s what I’ve worked with from the beginning, and it continues to suit the way I paint. Oil paint is a traditional medium used by many of the Old Masters, whose work I deeply admire. Someday, I hope to be as accomplished as they were.

I love sharing my paintings with others, which is why I created this website—to showcase a selection of my most recent oil paintings. As I complete new pieces, I’ll continue adding them here.
